About Trusted Technical Training Ltd
Born from the success of Tecforce Ltd’s specialist training centre, Trusted Technical Training Ltd was created to make practical, industry-led welding training available to businesses, individuals and the wider community.
PRACTICAL TRAINING. PROVEN STANDARDS. INDUSTRY TRUSTED.
Our Story
Trusted Technical Training Ltd was formed following the success of the specialist training centre originally created for Tecforce Ltd.
The launch of the centre attracted media attention and generated interest from businesses, organisations and the wider community. This encouraged us to explore how our facilities, industry knowledge and practical experience could be used to support more people and address the skills needs of the welding, engineering and manufacturing sectors.
Building on that success, Tecforce helped launch Trusted Technical Training: a dedicated training provider founded on the principles of technical excellence, trusted standards and practical learning that delivers genuine workplace value.
Today, we work with individuals, employers, colleges, local authorities and other organisations to deliver welding and development programmes shaped around real industry requirements. From tailored workforce training and continuing professional development to Train the Trainer programmes, Skills Bootcamps and our NEET to Needed programme, our focus remains on helping people and businesses develop the skills they need to progress.
Practical Training with Industry at Its Heart
Our training is practical, focused and led by people with genuine industry experience. Programmes can be developed around specific welding processes, materials, equipment, standards and workforce objectives, ensuring that training is relevant to the environments in which those skills will be used.
Training is delivered at our specialist welding centre in groups of up to 12 trainees, providing valuable hands-on experience, professional guidance and focused support.

Ethan
Rated 5/5
Ethan joined the course to develop his practical welding skills, technical knowledge and confidence.
“I learnt how to weld, along with the health and safety, gases and preparation of weld materials. I feel I learnt more here in four weeks than anywhere else in my life—including all my years at school.”
“I saw my hat as a defence mechanism, but after a week I took it off and felt confident working without it. I wouldn’t have been able to get into college with my grades, but here I was given a chance and learnt far more in a shorter time.”
“This course gives you the knowledge, understanding and skills needed to get a job in welding. I was given a chance to prove myself and now feel like I can do anything if I put my mind to it.”
Ethan said he would recommend the course and described the training as excellent.
“I loved every minute of it. I love it here and will be sad to go.”
Zack
Apprenticeship Ready
Zack joined the course to build his practical ability and prepare for the next stage of his welding career.
“I enjoyed understanding not just what we were doing, but why—especially why things go wrong and how to fix them. It helped me understand what not to do, improved how I practised and sped up my progress.”
“I developed my understanding of welding theory, how to read a Welding Procedure Specification and how to work safely, alongside the practical skills.”
“The course gave me insight into what a working environment is like and boosted my confidence about starting a job. It reinforced my hope of becoming a welder and also introduced me to rail as a potential career.”
Zack rated the course 5/5, said he would recommend it and felt the training had prepared him to begin his apprenticeship with confidence.
“I learnt at my own pace without feeling overwhelmed, while gaining the knowledge and skills to understand welding properly. It has given me the confidence to start my apprenticeship and hit the ground running.”
“I only wish it could have been longer so I could learn another process.”
